Tony set up Ford Campbell in Stockport in the early 1990s as an accountancy practice specialising in strategic advice. In 1997, he moved to Manchester and set up the corporate finance practice recruiting some of the most highly respected individuals in the area.

Over the last eight years Tony has set up sister companies, including a specialist search and selection firm, Ford Hastings, and FSA regulated private equity company, Lloyd Street Private Capital. Ford Hastings boasts 400 senior chairmen, non-executives and managing directors which work with companies and many venture capitalists in high growth and turnaround situations. Lloyd Street has access to significant equity from high net worth individuals where traditional venture capitalists fear to tread.

As well as being at the helm of Ford Campbell, which is now one of the most highly-respected firms in the North West advising on deals worth more than £100m per annum, he has business interests in one of the UK’s largest business brokerages as well B2Bdata.com and a significant utility services provider.

Away from business, Tony enjoys skiing, shooting, breeding highland cattle at his 120-acre farm estate and supporting several charitable organisations.
