Dave joined Ford Campbell in 1997, and two years later qualified as a chartered accountant. He was appointed to the corporate finance team in 1999 and has since played a pivotal role in developing it into one of the leading players in the North West.

Dave, who became a Partner in 2005, specialises in private-equity backed deals with values from £10m to £100m-plus. He is also on the board of the UK’s biggest exhaust manufacturer, Klarius, after advising it on the purchase of the $200m European business of US giant, ArvinMeritor.

With a vast array of sector experience and successfully completed transactions, Dave relishes the role of corporate mentor as well as getting his hands dirty doing deals.

Dave is a big football fan and when he’s not on the terraces at Stockport County, he can be found coaching his son’s under 9s football team. Dave also plays the electric guitar (badly!).
